FAQ

Q1. What is the Leadership Integrity Framework®?

The Leadership Integrity Framework® is a four-dimension model — Purpose, Presence, Partnership, and Perspective — that helps senior leaders integrate inner clarity, outward expression, relationships, and systems awareness into a coherent leadership practice. Developed by Master Certified Coach Maria Wade through more than 3,000 hours of senior-leader coaching, it addresses what isolated leadership models cannot: integration.

Q2. What are the four dimensions of the Leadership Integrity Framework®?

The framework’s four dimensions are Purpose (the inner world of values, motivations, and clarity), Presence (how leaders show up and the impact others observe), Partnership (the quality of relationships, trust, and collaboration), and Perspective (systems awareness and the capacity to see patterns and consequences). Each contains seven elements. Effectiveness comes from integration, not from mastering any single dimension.

Q3. Is the Leadership Integrity Framework® evidence-based?

Yes. The framework adapts Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory four-quadrant structure to leadership development and aligns with established neuroscience: the Default Mode Network (Purpose), mirror neurons and emotional contagion systems (Presence), the social brain (Partnership), and pattern-recognition networks (Perspective). It was refined through hundreds of hours of senior-leader coaching engagements across Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations.

Q4. How is the Leadership Integrity Framework® different from other leadership models?

Most leadership models specialize in a single dimension — emotional intelligence focuses on inner work, executive presence on visible behavior, team effectiveness on relationships, strategic thinking on systems. The Leadership Integrity Framework® doesn’t replace those models. It organizes them. It addresses the integration gaps — the spaces between dimensions — where most senior-leader struggles actually live.

Q5. Who is the Leadership Integrity Framework® for?

The framework is designed for senior leaders navigating complexity — including executives across financial services and insurance, technology, healthcare and life sciences, retail and e-commerce, energy, and industrial manufacturing. It is especially relevant for leaders working through AI-driven transformation and the workforce, role, and identity disruptions that travel with it. Emerging leaders benefit as well.

Q6. What leadership challenges does the Leadership Integrity Framework® address?

The framework addresses the struggles that surface when leadership capabilities develop in isolation: strategic brilliance without emotional availability, strong relationships without hard decisions, commanding presence without anchoring purpose. It supports leaders working through complexity, ambiguity, and organizational change — particularly under conditions of acute digital and organizational disruption where the demand is to deliver results while staying human.

Q7. Where should I start with the Leadership Integrity Framework®?

The simplest first step is joining the Leadership Integrity Group community to receive reflections on leadership integrity and updates on new tools. From there, explore the LīF Assessment to identify your current signature dimension, or read Leadership Integrity Framework: How to Stay Grounded, Build Trust, and Lead with Wholeness in Uncertain Times (Plymouth James Press, 2025), available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major booksellers.
